There have been some changes around our little suburban house.
I got new curtains totally on a whim when West Elm sent me one of those “buy it now while it’s cheap” emails.
I posted about them a while back and I think they were $17 per panel at the time. It was just about the cheapest I’ve ever seen a decent looking curtain panel so I jumped on it!
I’m completely in love with them. It makes such a difference!
We also got a rug for the living room completely free from a friend who had just moved and didn’t want it. It’s a 9×12 from West Elm. We lucked out on that one!
I did a little lamp makeover last week.
I was dying to have some gold lamps with black shades. I’ve been seeing them all over and I just love the look.
So I took some old silver lamps and did a quick DIY on them.
I’m pretty happy with them. Just a quick change that made a big difference!
I also got a mirror for the bathroom from Ikea that I’m loving and a few accessories from various places.
There’s some great stuff happening but still so much I want to do! More to come!
